LVA is very often the overlooked feature on your bone density machine.
LVA stands for Lateral Vertebral Assessment. This exam looks for deformities in the spine from L5 to T15.
Most people don’t know that LVA is reimbursed through insurances and more people don’t know their bone density system has it.
Here is an example of how to find out if you have this option:
- Go the the home page of your enCORE Software
- Click Help from top tool bar
- Click About from drop down menu
- Scroll through your ‘features’ to check if you have it
We also offer the LVA positioner if your system has the LVA feature but no longer has the LVA positioner.
