Is the Scanner Reset error code an SBC Board error?
The Scanner Reset error code is actually one of the more common error codes on the GE Lunar Prodigy bone density systems. At first glance, a technician may diagnose this error as an issue with the SBC Board.
However, in most instances the Scanner Reset error code, is actually not related to an SBC Board failure.
Since the SBC Board monitors all the systems, it is understandable that the Scanner Reset error code message may trigger this diagnosis. Always best not to jump to this conclusion right away, and find the correct cause of the Scanner Reset error code.
In order to properly assess the Scanner Reset error code, a technician should first go into the diagnostic testing tab and run a complete diagnostic test – of all the ‘testable parts’. This will help to correctly to determine the ultimate cause of the error.
